Every two years, the Imbuto Foundation chaired and Founded by the First Lady of Rwanda Mrs Jeanette Kagame honors outstanding young Rwandans who strive toward the highest levels of personal and professional accomplishment, who excel in their chosen field, devote time and energy to their community in a meaningful way, and forge paths of leadership for all Rwandan youth to follow. This is done through the entitled Celebrating Young Rwanda Achievers – CYRWA Awards.
I was fortunate to attend the 4th Edition of this award ceremony held on August 20th 2013, at Serena Hotel, and surely this quote by Margaret Thatcher reflects the commitment made by this year’s 7 awardees to reach this prestigious moment of their lives, a moment when they get to be recognized for their outstanding achievements.
Today HeHe Limited is once again delighted to share the joy with the 6 other communities that host these young achievers, by having one of our own awarded in recognition of her priceless role.
Hitmana Nkubito, Esther Mbabazi, Isabelle Kamaliza, Dominic Ntirushwa, Chance Tubane, Violette Uwamariya, and Clarisse Iribagiza all have one thing in common: They dared trying, and then they achieved.
This means a lot for our team, as we celebrate our third year anniversary: recognition awards, opportunities to intern, volunteer and learn from some of the most successful Tech companies worldwide such as Twitter, Google and AT&T, broader markets opening up for our software services, opportunities to give back to our community through training events and campaigns support, to mention but a few. You can sense dynamism from every single member, striving to pop out of their comfort zones and think outside the box to bring the next most innovative solutions with a Rwandan trademark.
This comes with a word of appreciation to each and every one of you who believed in our vision and has been very supportive and key on this exciting journey. As the vision grows, there is no looking back, we're moving forward past the start-up phase towards one where more than ever, we Impact communities with cutting edge mobile tech solutions again and again.
